Czech investments in Azerbaijan made $1bn in 2002-2013.
The statement came from co-chairman of the Azerbaijani-Czech intergovernmental commission on trade and economic, scientific and technical and cultural cooperation, Niyazi Safarov speaking at the second session of the commission held in Baku.
He said Azerbaijan currently accounts for 13 companies with Czech capital.
“Companies are engaged in such spheres as transport, services, trade, construction, communication, etc”, Safarov said.
